An abstract image of a rhododendron. Using multiple exposures in the camera, I merged 4 photos of a rhododendron into 1 photo. I then digitally processed this photo with this result. I never cease to be amazed at the possibilities of digital post-processing and your own creativity you can apply to this. As a viewer, you can just about recognise some of the leaves and stamens of the rhododendron in this image. A beautiful work above the sofa, in a shop, hospital, canteen or restaurant. In May 2014 I started with what has become the greatest passion in my life. So wonderful and soothing to look for beautiful stories in nature. That is what I would like to convey to you as a viewer with my narrative photos. Feeling, looking, fantasizing and dreaming away in the story. Because I want to do something more with my pictures I started writing a children's book. I want to let the children feel my nature experience and give them something about the beautiful nature and its little stories. In this way I hope, in my own modest way, to make a small contribution to education and especially involvement with and experience of nature.
