Rice fields always give me the real travel feeling. Not only do the green terraces in Asia look beautiful, they also smell very good. This picture was shot in Tegallalang. This small village is flooded by many tourists in the summer. In winter it is nice and quiet here.

Hi, we're Dennis and Rita. Dennis a documentary maker and Rita from the marketing world. Since 2012 we travel the world together. Every time to a special place. From a safari in Kenya, sleeping with locals in Cuba, celebrating Halloween in Japan to a musical road trip through the United States. Upon returning home, we already fantasize about the next destination.
A trip around the world is a child's dream of both of us, but each time it didn't come true. You have a full-time job and a house to buy. You settle down and so you're a few years away. It's still gnawing at you. Until we decided it's a now-or-never chance. Because, why don't you go after your dream and do something you REALLY want? Okay, you give up a lot like a base in Holland and you say hello to your family and friends. Still, we firmly believe that you get a lot in return. This is a once in a lifetime experience, which I hope we can talk about for years to come.
We sold our house and worked as digital nomads on the road. An ideal combination until Corona threw a spanner in the works. Unfortunately we are back in the Netherlands after 8 months on the road. Of course with a lot of pictures.
