This picture was taken at the foot of the old Roman bridge in Trier. This bridge over the Mosel river was built in the 2nd century A.D. and is since 1986 on the World Heritage List of UNESCO.

Nature photography and travel photography. Two forms of photography that appeal to me enormously. Both are great to combine!
I love to look for the sometimes more unknown, but special places that are unique and characteristic of a town or city. An authentic narrow street, a stately building or a picturesque square, photographed with different conditions in weather and light, which results in powerful photos.
I also try to show the weather and the lighting clearly in landscape photos. Long exposure times for a dreamy atmosphere or beautiful clouds for a dynamic panorama also yield powerful photos.
This way I am always traveling through nature and culture!
