About the artwork

Night view of Rotterdam from De Rotterdam, the "vertical city" designed by Rem Koolhaas.

In the foreground the Wilhelmina Pier with New Orleans and movie theater LantarenVenster, Montevideo, Hotel New York, Las Palmas, the World Port Center and the Cruise Terminal.

On the left we see Rijnhaven and behind that the neighbourhood of Katendrecht including the Grain Silo and the Fenix sheds.

On the right the river Nieuwe Maas and behind that the northbank including Ferry Harbourn, Euromast and Erasmus MC.

Based on a composition of three pictures taken from a balcony on the fourteenth floor of the Rotterdam and edited in Photoshop with a collection of filters to give the work a picturesque appearance.

My work can be found in the border regions of photography, painting and computer visuals. With my company 3Develop I do work in commission but I use the same techniques, skills and software to make free work.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
