Oia is a picturesque village in the north of the island of Santorini. Oia is a beautiful, traditional village, with pretty white-painted houses, white-painted narrow alleys. However, the most impressive thing about Oia is the phenomenal views of the sea and the caldera (crater)

My passion is taking pictures. Pictures of nature, of cities, of animals, but also macro photography I like very much. Because of this nice hobby I started to look at the world in a different way.
When I was 18 years old I bought my first SLR camera. This was still an analogue camera with old fashioned rolls of film.
Soon after I bought my first digital SLR camera. Taking pictures was always my hobby, but because of young children, work and a busy family life it remained a nice hobby. When the children got older I started taking several photo courses. First basic courses and later all kinds of advanced courses. Taking pictures became more than a nice hobby.
