Ship's telegraph in an engine room.

A dark engine room of a ship's hoist showing a machine telegraph. Beautifully lit and the engine's valve lifter driving the lift mechanism.

I am always inspired for industrial places and I often take a day off for that. And in the engine room of an old ship lift in Duisland, I came across this Ship Telegraph coupled to an old-fashioned open steam engine. The nostalgia radiates from this photo you can imagine yourself in the engine room of a ship or an industrial place. The valve lifter of the engine gives the photo extra atmosphere. And yet a nice minimalist atmosphere where the ship telegraph plays the leading role. Zaankanteropavontuur armed with the camera through the country. The edges of cities and industrial estates, but also villages and coastlines. Photography digital and analogue from the camera for on the wall, of the living room waiting room, study or office. Or as wallpaper wall filling!

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
