About "Simplicity and tranquillity: A thistle"

About the artwork

"Gentle but edgy, simplicity and calm: A thistle" is a macro photo of a thistle flower, on a white reflective background. This ground has a texture that gives it a picturesque reflection.
As there is a "light space" around the thistle, a sense of calm and space is created.
A natural image, with an abstract representation alongside the "realistic" one.
The main colours in this work are soft and pastel: light grey, green, blue/blue-grey and white/cream. I think the colours and tranquillity of this work fit nicely into a Scandinavian living style.
I chose the title because I think the flowers of the thistle have something very sweet and soft, but the leaves, on the other hand, are very prickly. If you zoom in on the picture you can see this.
This piece could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the waiting room, bedroom, hall or just above the couch in the living room, for example! Also beautiful on the wall in a meeting room (business).

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
