The Maasboulevard with Rotterdam's skyline, prominent here in red is the Willemsbrug over the Maas. The Hef on the Noordereiland is also nicely visible on the left. Very far in the distance behind the Willemsbrug we see the Erasmus Bridge "the Swan" as it is also called. The top of the Salmon Tower is already somewhat hidden in a rain cloud.
The photo was taken on a drizzly Saturday morning just before the rain came down over the city. I chose to make it in black and white and let the Willemsbrug keep its beautiful red color. The bollard in the foreground adds depth to the photo.
In daily life I work as a nurse in elder care, in my spare time I photograph as a hobby. I love flowers and they are very patient to experiment with. I also like to make city and village pictures both during the day and in the dark. Also portraits of people I find interesting to make "who is behind this portrait" Furthermore, I like to travel to discover new countries and places.
