Yes, the **Sloth bear** (also known as **Lippen bear**) lives in the **Wilpattu National Park** in Sri Lanka. Located in the northwest of the island, this national park is the largest and one of the oldest protected nature reserves in Sri Lanka. It is known for its rich biodiversity, including the rare sloth bear.
The **Sloth bear** gets its name from its slow movements and shaggy fur, but it is not a relative of the sloth. This bear feeds mainly on termites, ants, fruit and honey. Although shy, it is sometimes spotted by visitors at Wilpattu. Besides sloth bears, the park is also home to leopards, elephants and many species of birds.
Wilpattu National Park is a great destination for nature lovers and safari-goers in search of Sri Lanka's wild beauty.
