Nestling at the end of a cobbled lane in Panauti, this small white stupa stands humbly, imbued with spirituality and serenity. Surrounded by colourful prayer flags gently fluttering in the wind, it symbolises the peace and wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism.
The whitened walls of the stupa contrast with the stone walkways and traditional carved wooden roofs typical of Newar architecture. Here, time seems to stand still, offering visitors and pilgrims a moment of meditation, lulled by the murmur of the wind and prayers.
This discreet place, far from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, bears witness to the rich cultural heritage of the Kathmandu valley. It invites you to take a meditative break, where every element, from the ancient paving stones to the floating flags, evokes the connection between the divine and the human.
