One of my favourite animals to see underwater . They swim very elegantly and quietly but are very difficult to keep track of. I came across this stingray in Turks & Caicos during a free diving session. The sun was going down a slow which allowed me to capture the sun's rays beautifully through the clear water. Turks & Caicos is an island group next to the Bahamian Islands and is known for its blue and clear water which shows well in the photo. This is a sore photo which would fit very well in a living room, hotel room, kitchen or even an outdoor garden. The deep blue colours come out beautifully with the sun's rays in the background.
This is definitely a picture for someone who loves the sea and a tropical feel.

My name is Joost Boerman, born in the netherlands, but when I was 20, I moved to the sunny island of Aruba. Here I discovered the beauty of the underwater world. Soon I bought a gopro to capture this world. But when I moved to Australia a few years later, I was able to buy a professional underwater camera and this was the start of a great hobby. I invested in more lenses to capture big animals, from whales to the smallest creatures like nudibranchs. Sins I left my hometown in the Netherlands, my goal is to travel around the world.
