I wonder if it seems a little counter-intuitive to produce a floral image in black and white? After all it is the colours that we like in our spring garden isn't it? But it was the shapes of the spring flowers, tulips and grape hyacinths, that caught my eye together with their leaves. I wanted to emphasise the shapes and architecture of this natural spring border by producing a photo art image in black and white.
