About "St Bruno's Lily"

About the artwork

This photo art image shows St Bruno's Lily, also known as the Paradise Lily or Paradisea Lusitanica. They grow wild at high altitudes in the Alps, the Pyrenees and the Apennines - and on my land in Central Italy! I remember when the first of these appeared and I was stunned by the beauty of the plant. They grow tall, thin, stems, over a metre high, and then the flowers open at the top as shown in this picture. Beautiful white trumpet flowers with yellow anthers and a very light fragrance. Left to their own devices they propagate from seed, as they have with us. We now have several clumps of these gorgeous flowers that are the envy of the neighbours. The lilies can be grown from seed or can be divided in spring. I note you can purchase the seeds or root stock and there are quite detailed growing instructions that come along with them. All I can tell you is the Mother Nature seems to manage pretty well with us, where these grow as wild flowers in our wild flower garden.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
