In the middle of the City of London there is a beautiful and peaceful garden, that was once the site of a medieval church. Severely damaged by the Great Fire of London in 1666, the steeple was added in 1695-1701 by Sir Christopher Wren. Being severely damaged during Second World War, the church has not been rebuilt, and an ominous atmosphere still looms in the garden, a dark oasis of peace away from the chaos of the city. Grade I listed building.
Infrared photograph.
Italian photographer graduated in Digital Media Design at the University of the Arts London. Along with Motion Graphics I have cultivated a passion for photography too, in particular infrared. I enjoy taking pictures in locations that leave time and space for reflection giving me the chance to become intimate with the surroundings. Images of often solitary places may evoke melancholic feelings, even romantic sometimes, but the presence of few or no people reveal a reserved character, yet sensitive.
