Now a residential picturesque area visited by tourists as it sits on the edge of Shad Thames near Tower Bridge, St Saviour's Dock London was once a busy dock area but also home to one of the worst slum areas. Today it is possible to take a pleasant walk around the area and it is a lovely place to live, full of luxury apartments - irony?
