Aegidium is a beautiful abandoned cinema, hidden in a busy street in Brussels, Belgium. From the outside you wouldn't expect that behind the small door there are several rooms with a total surface of 3.260 m². Throughout the building a mix of art nouveau and art deco elements can be found. The main hall (cinema) is designed in a beautiful Moorish style by architect Léon Denis.
Roman Robroek is a photographer who captures forgotten places around the world. In particular, he is focused on creating stunning pho-tos of abandoned locations, rich with wonder, mystery and unanswered questions.
