This is a picture taken from the stairs of a beautiful abandoned palace, with a great view of the Black Sea. The construction of the palace began in the first half of the 20th century. Rumor has it that this palace belonged to a countess. I imagine it must have been the most beautiful house in the area at the time. The architecture, the garden and the view look beautiful. Unfortunately, the palace is now in heavy decay and important objects have been looted.
Roman Robroek is a photographer who captures forgotten places around the world. In particular, he is focused on creating stunning pho-tos of abandoned locations, rich with wonder, mystery and unanswered questions.
