In an abandoned and derelict villa somewhere in Europe, there is this huge hall, with a beautiful wide marble staircase and several large windows overlooking a courtyard. It is an impressively beautiful hall, with a marble-tiled floor, and a beautiful banister along the stairs leading up. And large columns supporting the ceiling. The hall is old and dilapidated but still exceptionally beautiful, with light streaming in through the large arched windows, which still gives the hall a wonderful atmosphere. In the decades the villa has been empty, dust and dirt have accumulated, and the paint is now peeling off the walls. Gone glory, a longing for better times, a sense of lost wealth. The photo shows all this, the photo also shows a piece of history, of the rich past that took place here. An image that will never bore, an intriguing image for the wall.
