About "Sunflower in vase bleu dream"

About the artwork

This work is executed in two primary colours: yellow and blue, a bright yellow, a somewhat ochre yellow and a very deep blue, or actually: royal blue, which is the official designation. The yellow in royal blue produces beautiful contrasts and a radiantly bright image. In the background, the slight shadow of the vase with the sunflowers can be seen. Yes, plural: there are several sunflowers in the 'vase bleu dream'. Behind the petals of the frontal sunflower, some smaller yellow leaves stick out. In the blue, a corner is formed with three tight lines, behind the vase. This gives the image depth. I found the vase at the Emmaus in Chatillon-sur-Seine, Côte d'Or.
The starting point of this work is a photograph. By editing the photo in Lightroom and Photoshop, I arrived at this final image. I then let it 'mature' for one to one and a half years in my files. This is necessary to assess after a long time whether I am still satisfied with it. By now I can say: yes, I am - still - very satisfied with this work.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
