The Vennengebied, in the border area between Turnhout (Belgium) and Baarle-Nassau (the Netherlands), is slowly getting its completion . A lot of hard work was done on this area a few years ago, resulting in an open landscape that is home to many birds. A rich area for new flora and fauna. From the watchtower, which stands near this area (the Bels lijntje), this photo was taken in the early morning.
