On the shores of Lake Chiemsee, the day awakens in a quiet, almost magical atmosphere. Shortly before sunrise, the lake is still bathed in soft twilight and the world seems to hold its breath for a moment. The colours of the sky gently shift from cool blue to soft pink and orange, reflecting in the smooth surface of the water and making the lake look like a painting in which every detail has been carefully placed.
The first rays of sun touch the peaks of the Chiemgau Alps in the background, bathing them in a golden light, while the snow-covered edges of the mountains glow softly. The horizon seems endless and the clear air emphasises the vastness of the landscape. The peaceful silence is broken only by the soft lapping of the water as the gentle waves roll over the gravel of the shore.
A light mist still lies over the lake, almost like a veil, which slowly lifts with the rising rays of the sun. At this moment, the sky, water and mountains merge into a tranquil, harmonious picture that touches the soul and draws the viewer into a world far removed from the hustle and bustle for a fleeting moment.
