A 2:1 photo of Bandon Beach where several sea stacks form a beautiful motif during sunset. At Bandon Beach, these sea stacks consist of sandstone, greenstone, hornstone and even blueschist blocks. These rocks belong to the Jurassic-era Otter Point Formation, a part of the Franciscan Assembly that was accreted on the west coast of North America during the Cretaceous.
