My name is Jos van de Venne. I completed a university engineering degree. Within engineering, I have always had a fascination for industrial design. From this fascination came an interest in painting. At the free academy in Delft, the foundations were laid for a broader interest in painting. This 3-year period continued at ChocArt in Sittard. Then came the period of the art collective 2b2joli in Sittard. Painting was complemented by papier-mâché objects. As co-organiser, I take part in the Interlimburg Art Cycle Route every year. His work was also displayed in the Gouvernement (nomination Alphons Wintersprijs), the Maastricht District Court, and on various art routes.
