I am driving through Calabria, the southernmost region of mainland Italy. I am driving through the mountains of Aspromonte, a mountainous area near Reggio Calabria, the capital of this region. The landscape consists mainly of forests and mountains. Nature is beautiful, it is spring and everything is in full bloom. My attention is focused on the tall trees along the side of the narrow road. Stopping the car, I get out and look up. Far above me, treetops are coming together. It is quiet, there is no one else there. I only hear the wind blowing through the trees. I look up again and take a picture. I enjoy the view and the sound of the wind, which brings some cooling. I get back in the car and continue driving through this beautiful area. Tall trees in Italy, high in the mountains of Aspromonte.
