In the colourful world of flowers and plants floats the Common Triplet, a majestic hoverfly that defies gravity with its wings. These graceful insects are characterised by their striking colours and remarkable flying skills. The Common Triplet, also known as the Common Pendulum Fly, feeds on the nectar of flowers and plays an important role in the pollination of plants. In this photo, we see the Common Triplet resting on a flower petal as it feeds on the sweet nectar.
