This photo art image called 'The Long Walk Home; features a herd of Aberdeen Angus cows with their young following a well trodden path on the Sussex Downs near Brighton in England. They spend their days roaming free on the lush pasture. Walking in the same direction, they clearly have a destination in mind as they walk with purpose. Perhaps they are returning to the main farm to be fed. One cow looks back to check that all the calves are following on the long walk home.
It was so nice to see the cows and calves together like this, obviously so free and so contented. And what a lovely area to be living in, as the Sussex Downs area was designated an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1966.
