The Minotaur looks out over the Sea is a colourful digital painting in impressionist style. The Minotaur was one of the most famous monsters in ancient Greek mythology, usually depicted with the body of a man and the head of a bull. Born from the unnatural union of Pasiphae and the Cretan bull, the Minotaur lived in the centre of a labyrinth, specially designed to hide him from view at the request of Pasiphae's husband, Minos.
