The Terp of Leidschenveen is the name of the former waste dump in Leidschenveen and now partially serves as a sound barrier. Laurens Kolks and Dennis Lohuis designed a work of art in 2009, namely the white little church on top of the Terp. The little church has been reduced in size and is also empty inside. It has no particular function. The artwork stands on the Terp between the many busy traffic streets and in the middle of a residential area. It is like going back in time to the old Dutch landscape between all the modern infrastructure in The Hague. It is a sham chapel made as a statement in which emptying churches become more normal.
I walk, I stop, I look, I click.
