The Oude Toren on the Winterdijk is a remnant of the original parish church, later the Reformed Church, of Baardwijk. This church was demolished in 1911. The lower sections of the rising tower, which have been preserved, date from about 1300, while it was raised with a bell section in the 15th century. The tower was restored in 1924. The lower sections are one of the earliest examples of the use of brick in church building. The photo was taken during nocturnal walks in the spring.
Raoul Suermondt architecture photography. I am a photographer who specializes in architectural photography. My clients are mainly architectural firms, construction companies and project developers. In addition to commissioned photography, I also regularly do freework. My favorite subjects are (urban) landscapes, nature, architectural details and more generally the human being in his environment.
