The Urban Collection | Spices

As a child, I loved to read. I loved reading stories about distant lands and people getting lost in unknown cities with unpronounceable names. I still chase that sense of wonder I picked from those pages's.

I am lucky, I get to travel for a living. I visit distant lands and get lost in unfamiliar cities names that sound strange and exotic. I visit markets and souks, places where herbs and spices are piled high.

This photo is one of my own favourites and so it hangs above my own sofa. The photo sums up that sense of wonder in one image. You can almost smell the spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg and spices whose names I don't even know.

The warm colour of this photo only adds to the atmosphere. So this photo fits perfectly in a warm, homely interior. Like in the kitchen or dining room.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
