At the Grote Markt in Nijmegen, the weighhouse is built around 1613; also called Boterwaag by some. The weigh house was designed by city architect Cornelis Janssen of Delft. It is a richly decorated building reminiscent of the creations of Hendrick de Keyser. De Waag is nowadays a restaurant and 'atmospheric meeting location'. The establishment received a historic sounding name: 'De Waagh'.
