The globetrotter Reinhard Pantke (born 67) experiences his travel destinations basically only with bicycle and backpack. In addition to bicycle tours through Norway (17x), Sweden, Iceland (3x), Scotland, England, New Zealand (3x) and some South Sea Islands and the Canary Islands, he was also in Canada and Alaska on the road. In the course of these tours he covered a total of 170,000 km by bicycle in recent years. In addition to articles in regional and national newspapers and magazines, calendars, book contributions and exhibitions, Reinhard Pantke is also the author of various illustrated books about Norway and Canada. In 2009, the adventurer had already crossed Canada from west to east. In the summer of 2012, Pantke will cycle from Vancouver to Anchorage. Further tours through South America and Asia are planned. In the summer of 2014, the globetrotter will cycle once from Braunschweig to Nordkapp
