This photo was taken in a field close to us.
This photo was taken with a macro lens.
My inspiration for this came from seeing a bee sitting on a field thistle.
Many were already out of bloom so the ones in bloom are nicely highlighted with the bee.
The bee is easy to see on the Field Thistle.
The colours of the photo give the work a nice warm soft glow.
Because there was a gentle breeze, you can see Field Thistle in the foreground that has already finished flowering.
This photo gives you a great example of how beautiful simple things in nature look beautiful in photos.
You can see many things in it that make you never tire of looking at it.
