In 2018, I lived in a place called Exmouth in western Australia . An enchanting place here does pass all the animals you can think of. One Saturday morning, I decided to go snorkelling for a bit with a friend and of course I took my camera with me, and lucky me because we came across these animals. They did keep swimming around us for a few minutes and I had quite a few chances to get them in the photo, but when I dove down and all three came swimming towards me, I knew I had this stunner of a photo. For me, 2018 was one of my best years so far and this photo helps me never forget it . A photo for the real sea lover those dark blue colours together with the three animals on it makes a perfect picture for the living room, kitchen, bedroom actually it can go anywhere on the wall !
My name is Joost Boerman, born in the netherlands, but when I was 20, I moved to the sunny island of Aruba. Here I discovered the beauty of the underwater world. Soon I bought a gopro to capture this world. But when I moved to Australia a few years later, I was able to buy a professional underwater camera and this was the start of a great hobby. I invested in more lenses to capture big animals, from whales to the smallest creatures like nudibranchs. Sins I left my hometown in the Netherlands, my goal is to travel around the world. I currently live in Aruba and the US, but I will move to Norway this summer. By selling my photos, I try to support my travels. For questions, please feel free to contact me anytime! Dear Joost
