The Mystery of Sauve-Majeure Abbey is from a series I made, summer 2023, around and near Sauve-Majeure Abbey France.
Sauve-Majeure Abbey has a rich history dating back to the 11th century.
The whole series consists of four works in colour and 10 works in black and white.
In the hidden visible and non-visible corridors and vaults, you can hear the voices from the past calling to the present. Like a refuge from eternal life. The purple sky is the symbol of a mixture of mysticism, mystery and doom, a border between reality and imagination, as a viewer I invite you to listen to the voices of the past.
