'The tear in watercolour' is a beautiful mixed media work that combines emotion and beauty. The square artwork features a sketch and watercolour of a woman in profile. Her hair seems to consist of clouds of drained watercolour dancing around her like a gentle breeze. It is almost as if the paint has been drawn into her hair and miraculously stuck there. But what makes this work really special is the tear of red paint that seems to run down her cheek. It is a symbolic tear that enhances the emotion of the portrait. The red radiates intensity and the tear gives the work a sense of sadness and heartbreak. This artwork has a deep emotional impact on the viewer. It evokes feelings of empathy and compassion, while also depicting the beauty of human emotions. 'The tear in watercolour' is a work of art that will continue to touch and inspire you again and again.
In the distant past I worked a lot with photoshop, so when I started using photoshop more often as a hobby it was only natural that I could add something to my photos.
Nowadays my work relies heavily on the use of image editing software to finish both my photographs and my digital drawings and paintings.
If I can't photograph or draw/paint my subject there is always the 3d modeling software which makes just about anything possible.
On my website ArjenRoos.nl you can find more information and a large number of works are highlighted.
