"The warm brown tones of a Tragopogon" is a photo taken of a beautiful fluffy bulb of a Tragopogon (morning star). This photo was a really fun challenge to take because I wanted to photograph almost from within the bulb itself. This gives a nice effect like a peek through to the fluffy bulb behind, which is where the focus is. Being close to the "foreground fluff" blurs it and you look past the hazy fluff to a beautifully sharp fluff, so to speak. The droplets, of this fluff where the focus is, reflect the background, creating a horizontal line that divides the droplets into two areas, white below and brown above. If you zoom in on the work, you can see this! The warm natural colours of the Tragopogon create a rural atmosphere and feel natural.
This work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the kitchen, bedroom or waiting room, for example.
