Three white-fronted bee-eaters sit on a branch. In the middle, one is in front on whom the focus is. Behind it are two more. They all look to the left. The light falls on the one in front.
The background is yellow-green and completely out of focus.
The birds have green feathers on their backs, wings and tails. The top of their head is cream to white, with a black stripe across the eye. Below the eye is white again and below that, on the throat, is an orange-red patch.
The photo was taken in the Okavango Delta in Botswana in Africa, during one of my safari trips.
