On the edge of the Haringvliet lies a special bird observatory. It's shaped like an egg of the great star. But then 8 meters high and 11 meters long! And you have a 360 degree view over a colony of those big terns, but also the vast Haringvliet and the Haringvliet Locks. The bird observatory is one of the icons of the Haringvliet Dream Fund project in which Natuurmonumenten, together with other nature organizations, have been working since 2015 on an ambitious nature restoration plan and recreational impulse for the Haringvliet.

Hi, my name is Danny van der Waal and I'm a hobby photographer in Dordrecht. The photos I make fall into the categories; landscapes, architecture, street/urban and portraits. I shoot the photos in RAW with my Nikon z7, pay attention to my ISO values (because I hate noise) and edit them in both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I can therefore guarantee you that the quality of my photos is always good. The reason I offer my work is because I think it's a shame to only give my work a digital place. I'd rather give my pictures to you and my wall. That's why I only offer photos that I would hang myself. If you bought a work from me, I would very much like to have a picture of it!
