In the heel of Italy, in the very south of the country, there are thousands of traditional homes. One house is called trullo, several houses are called trulli. These cute little houses attract thousands of tourists. Alberobello can rightly be called trulli capital. There are hundreds of them in the center of the old town. Alberobello is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
It is definitely worth visiting Alberobello once. Alberobello is located in the province of Bari, in the region of Apulia, which is also known to us as Puglia. The architecture of a trulli is special. They are small white buildings with a cone-shaped roof. Most that I have seen are white plaster with a gray roof.
It is also worth exploring the area around Alberobello. Nearby are interesting towns like Locorotondo and Martina Franca, which are slightly less touristy, but certainly no less interesting.
Diana and Ronnie like to travel to areas where few tourists come.
With our photography we want to take the viewer along on our journeys of discovery. We like to meet other people and enjoy the beauty of a country. We want to tell stories and thus touch the viewer, make them curious, make them think and inspire them.
Diana: "My passion for photography was born through travel."
Ronnie: "I prefer to travel to countries around the Sahara and the Himalayas."
