About "Tree Layers 8"

About the artwork

This image, Tree Layers 8, was featured in an article written about my work in The Healing Power of Art and Artists. It is one of a series of images based on a photograph of a dead tree. An original acrylic painting underlay was used and then digital software used to adjust the colours to create a series of images that were then superimposed on one another. I then adjusted colours and added textures to create the different images. The concept of tree layers is my interpretation of the rings of the tree denoting age, like looking back over its life. This image depicts the life of the tree with the shadows of the past, different stages in growth and how the tree was part of the landscape, overlooking a beautiful view. To the right of the picture we have the residual, lingering energy of the dead tree, showing ghost like and still looking out over the view.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
