A tribute to Josef Albers (1888-1976) he was a German artist and teacher. He taught at the Bauhaus and Black Mountain College , was head of the design department at Yale University , and is considered one of the most influential teachers in the visual arts in the twentieth century. He favored a highly disciplined approach to composition.Albers' most famous work is "Homage to the Square". This series of paintings consists of more than 1000 works and was made between 1949 and 1976. Each painting consists of three or four squares that become smaller and smaller and are placed inside each other. Because no lines are placed between the squares, a chain of colors arises, in which one color influences the perception of the adjacent color.
