This swiming pool in Rotterdam was closed down in 2010. Now there are some small businesses but the rest of the pool is relatively neglected.At the end of these waterslides there is no water anymore, its just filled with dead leaves.

My name is Pieter van Roijen and I am a part-time photographer with my roots in Rotterdam. Many of my photos were taken in and around this metropolis on the Meuse, but also nature and landscapes at home and abroad. In addition to nature and landscape photography, I also focus on architecture, urban and industrial (port & industrial) photography. The Rijnmond area and especially Rotterdam offer many opportunities for this. Not least because of the great diversity of subjects.
