About "Trunk Of Old Olive Tree"

About the artwork

I live in Umbria, Italy half way up a mountain and surrounded by olive groves. It is an organic area and the olive oil made from these crops is highly prized.

Apart from the large olive farms with thousands of trees, there is a long tradition of the family olive grove. Today families and their children pick the olives and prune the trees that were looked after similarly by their grandparents and great grandparents.

Many of these trees are very old and some, like this one, have the most glorious trunk, full of holes and indententations that have developed over the years.

Born in the South of England I now live half way up a mountain in Umbria, Italy. I work from my art studio looking out over fabulous views of the Italian countryside. I am so happy to share my artwork with you.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
