I took this landscape shot on the summit plateau of the Lilienstein mountain, the landmark of Saxon Switzerland. It is dedicated to the view towards Königstein Fortress and the Elbe valley. A narrow footpath and a road lead through wide green fields lined with rows of small trees and bushes. The clear sky and bright sunlight bring out the lush, summery colours. In addition, the green treetops and fields form a beautiful counterpoint to the Saxon sandstone, which is characterised by erosion and bears the marks of time. Clouds create soft shadows on the field. With this photo, I would like to bring the scenic beauty of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains into your home.
