View through the Kuang Si Falls, Laos
The Kuang Si waterfall with its many plateaus is a well-known tourist attraction in Laos. It lies about 30 kilometers below Luang Prabang.
The waterfall is made of tuff. This is formed by the limestone water of the river leaving new layers of lime on organic material (moss, twigs, leaves). In the course of the centuries, limestone barriers can form, sometimes tens of metres high. This can lead to the formation of covered areas and tuff caves. The Kuang si waterfall is one of the largest tuff waterfalls in Southeast Asia.
According to many, the waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. This is mainly due to the striking blue water full of minerals. The waterfall consists of several plateaus, each of which is slightly different. In some parts you can swim.
I like to take pictures of nature and landscapes. Travelling is my passion. I also like to occasionally apply in photoshop effects, or create new designs, thus creating digital art. Also art and culture in other countries have my interest. I created many albums in my shop: panoramas, landscapes, animals, people, flowers, various countries, buddhas and more. Besides photography I am involved in sculpting and painting. My other work can be seen on https://www.rietjebulthuis.nl
