The old wooden pergola is festooned with a wonderful old vine covered in bunches of grapes that are ready to be picked for this years harvest and wine making production. These Italian black grapes make wonderful wine. Having picked them, washed them, put them through a masher, strained them and waited for the liquid to ferment before bottling, everyone is waiting for wine.
