Watercolour painting of painter's easel on Domburg dune. Reminder of the Zeeland light and the artists' colony that Domburg was in the years around 1900. Many famous artists, including Jan Toorop and Piet Mondrian, stayed in Domburg. This gave Domburg an allure that still stands today.

My focus is on Zeeland.
Living close to dunes, beach and a large nature reserve gives me a rich feeling. A feeling I like to share with others. I want to do that by using my passion for watercolour to depict the most beautiful places, historic towns and villages. So the beauty of this place that attracts many tourists every year. I am currently finishing the images of Walcheren, but the rest of Zeeland will come soon.
With the transparent and colourful look of my watercolours, I also want to show that there is more to Zeeland than mainstream photo images.
