Watercolour painting in autumn colours of mill De Hoop in Middelburg, Zeeland. Mill De Hoop was built in 1735 as a hulling mill. After a fire, it was restored as a corn and peel mill. In the 2nd World War, the moles were badly damaged and restoration was completed in 1954.

My focus is on Zeeland.
Living close to dunes, beach and a large nature reserve gives me a rich feeling. A feeling I like to share with others. I want to do that by using my passion for watercolour to depict the most beautiful places, historic towns and villages. So the beauty of this place that attracts many tourists every year. I am currently finishing the images of Walcheren, but the rest of Zeeland will come soon.
With the transparent and colourful look of my watercolours, I also want to show that there is more to Zeeland than mainstream photo images.
