Watercolour painting of the Kuiperspoor in Middelburg, Zeeland. The 17th century was home to the coopers' guild who purchased the gatehouse in 1642. Most of the houses and warehouses date from the time of the VOC. The warehouses have been restored over time and are now residential houses. The Arts Education Foundation is also located in several of the Kuiperspoort buildings.

My focus is on Zeeland.
Living close to dunes, beach and a large nature reserve gives me a rich feeling. A feeling I like to share with others. I want to do that by using my passion for watercolour to depict the most beautiful places, historic towns and villages. So the beauty of this place that attracts many tourists every year. I am currently finishing the images of Walcheren, but the rest of Zeeland will come soon.
With the transparent and colourful look of my watercolours, I also want to show that there is more to Zeeland than mainstream photo images.
